Instead of sitting in front of my computer, I spent my last Saturday (that is yesterday) at Ortaköy with eating Kumpir and enjoying the spectacular view of İstanbul Bosphorus. To whom don’t know what a Kumpir is; made by potato and mixed with cheese and some stuff including mayonnaise …etc. This is what I ate yesterday:

And those who don’t know how the Bosphorus is seen at Ortaköy:

I know it is weird but this year I feel something wrong with this city and me. I never thought that I’d be living somewhere else until this year. I feel like this is the last year with İstanbul and I may not have a chance to return back. That’s why, I don’t want to miss this spring and summer in İstanbul. I’m going to try to enjoy İstanbul as much as I can.

Tonight I’m flying to my hometown. Planning to spend time with my family and younger sister; she has been waiting for me to play games. Also, I want to see my old friends, so I may not be online whole weekend.

This Sunday Turkey is going to vote for local elections and so do I. I hope our country will get the management it deserves.

I have to be at work by week starts, so I already booked tickets for Monday morning.

Happy weekend.

Do you know that I’m a tea addict? I usually start my day drinking 4 or more couples of tea and keep drinking during working hours. But, it is hard to find good tea in my work because no one cares about it.

So, I though it’ll useful If I share my experiences in making good tea.
First, to make good tea you have to buy right product. I tried different several tea brands but only one producer is successful in this business. Yes, it is Turkey’s most popular tea producer “Çaykur” and “Çaykur Filiz Çay” is my favorite tea. So, I searched reasons how they managed to produce high quality tea and a main result is they have the power to preserve it for years to dry tea particles.

Second, fresh water is as important as the tea itself.

Third, to get nice drinkable to we have to make it in an iron teapot.

Now, we have everything to make a tea. I strongly suggest washing tea before using it. First, put washed tea inside the teapot and pour boiled water on it. Wait 5 – 10 min. then, you can enjoy it and keep in mind to consume it in 1 hour.
