Michael,
I have nothing with Microsoft employees and Microsoft itself personally. But, I don’t see the feature at Microsoft. Internet based applications and open source changed the way computing and I think Microsoft got it too late and now taking actions to regain its reputation.

I know some Microsoft executives claimed about new Microsoft search engine will beat Google several years ago. When Live.com launched, I thought it is the killer search engine Microsoft executive has mentioned in the past but it didn’t happen and Microsoft tried to buy Yahoo for search and it didn’t too. I can find many examples like that.

As, I said I have nothing with you and other Microsoft workers. I hope, someday, Microsoftwill come up a new technology that will blow my mind and then, I can give a chance to Microsoft.

Thanks,
Mehmet Ali

Zemanta,
I've been a Microsoft employee for two years and I have loved working for this innovative company. Before I joined, one of my friends who was already at Microsoft said to me that the hardest part about the job was that some people _HATE_ the company and no matter what you do, you cannot change their opinion. I took that to heart and joined the company anyways - and I haven't looked back.
In my time at Microsoft, I have not met any "evil" people - some misdirected, but I have met many intelligent people, innovative researchers, and tons of passionate individuals.
Microsoft is just a company - a thing - an entity.
People can be evil, not things.
Please give Microsoft and the people who work for it a second chance - and feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, ideas, or suggestions.
Thanks,
Michael S. Scherotter
